Hi, I'm Victoria Willis, and I guide people into the profound relaxation of Yoga Nidra - a practice that takes you to the deepest levels of rest whilst remaining fully conscious.
If you're struggling with stress, anxiety or simply feeling exhausted by the demands of modern life, Yoga Nidra offers a scientifically-backed path to genuine restoration and inner peace.
Yoga Nidra, often called "yogic sleep," is a guided meditation practice that induces deep relaxation whilst you remain awake and aware. Unlike physical yoga, you simply lie down comfortably and follow my voice as I guide you through a systematic journey of body awareness, breath and deep relaxation. A single 30-minute session can feel as restorative as several hours of sleep.
Research shows that Yoga Nidra is highly effective in reducing anxiety and stress, managing immune function, blood pressure, cortisol levels, and inducing restful sleep. Regular practice helps you to:

Do I need any experience with yoga or meditation?
Not at all. Yoga Nidra is accessible to complete beginners. You simply lie down and follow my guidance.
What do I need for a session?
A quiet space where you won't be disturbed, a comfortable place to lie down (yoga mat, bed, or sofa), a blanket, and perhaps a pillow or cushion for support.
Will I fall asleep?
You might! Whilst the aim is to remain in a state between waking and sleeping, falling asleep simply means your body needed rest. You'll still receive benefits.
How is this different from regular meditation?
Yoga Nidra is practiced lying down and uses systematic body awareness and guided imagery. It's often easier for people who find seated meditation challenging, and research suggests it may be more effective than standard meditation for reducing anxiety.
How often should I practice?
Even one session provides immediate benefits. Regular practice (weekly or fortnightly) creates cumulative effects—deeper relaxation, better sleep, and greater resilience to stress.
Is this suitable for corporate settings?
Absolutely. Yoga Nidra is increasingly recognised as a powerful tool for workplace wellbeing, helping teams manage stress and improve performance without requiring physical space or movement.
Your nervous system is asking for rest. Let me guide you there.
